The ambitious organic farming project envisaged by Patanjali Orgainc Research Institute (PORI) supported by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) under Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in association with ASCI (Agriculture Skill Council of India) is undertaking skill training for “Organic Grower” and “Group Farming Practitioner” in Mission Mode as “Patanjali Farmer Samridhi Programme (PFSP)”. Organic farming helps in doubling of farmers income through an integrated approach under which Farm Labs are being established in the farms of selected Trainer Farmers in which main crop with vertical crops model and increase in crop intensity for sustainable agricultural practices across various agro-climatic zones of the country are being imparted in particular and skill development in general.

Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), established as Section 8 Company under the Companies Act, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, works towards building capacity by bridging gaps and upgrading skills of farmers, farm & wage workers, self employed.

Mobilization of Eligible Farmers

The mobilization of eligible farmers for the identified job role is being done as per the norms to select potential candidates.

Pre-Screening and Counseling

The pre-screening and counseling of the candidates and self assessment and supporting documentation is being done.

Orientation and Training

The orientation and training covers the domain training, soft skills & entrepreneurship tips.

Final Assessment of Practitioners

The assessment of the Organic Farmer and Group Farming Practitioner is being conducted.

Certification and Payout

ASCI is validating and approving the results.Successful candidates are being provided with Certificate, Job Role Kit and Skill Badge.
