Our Farmer Trainer, Mr. Sushil Kumar Jaiswal from West Champaran, Bihar, was honoured as a Special Guest at the Independence Day celebrations in New Delhi on August 15th, 2024.
On 20th August, 2024, the National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (NCONF) visited the farm of Mr. Khilaram Arya in Kaboolpuri village, Haridwar.
On 11th August, 2024, Our trainer farmers, Mrs. Hitesh Chaudhary and Mrs. Princi Yadav from Uttar Pradesh, and Mr. Sumit Dagar and Mrs. Anita Dagar from Haryana, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, Roopwas and Mr. Jitender Nagar, Dujana from Gautam Budh Nagar had an inspiring discussion with Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at IARI Pusa.
Shri Avdhesh Pratap Singh, Principal Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, along with Dr. Pratima Yadav, visited Patanjali Yogpeeth, Agriculture Research Campus and Patanjali Research Foundation on 25th May 2024. During the visit, meeting with Swami Ramdev ji and Acharya Balkrishna ji was held to discuss various activities and review of the various activities being undertaken by Patanjali such as the farmer empowerment programs, soil testing, farmer samriddhi card, organic farming and certification etc. Visit to the various labs and facilities including the herbal garden was also made.
On 24th May, 2024, Dr. M. Arif (Scientist), Dr. Puspendra Pratap Singh (Principal Scientist), Mr. A. K. Sharma (Sr. Admin Officer) along with 25 participants from ICAR – IIFSR, Modipuram visited Agriculture Research Campus and Patanjali Organic Research Institute and learned about the various activities including the soil testing lab, field activities of PORI particularly related to Organic and Natural farming practices and also the soil health game.
PORI conducted Organic Grower Training under the flagship skill development scheme of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India – Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0) for financial year 2023 – 2024. The program was conducted in 10 states namely Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
PORI along with Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare (MoAFW) and Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) jointly conducted a Pilot Project on Training of Krishi Sakhi on Natural Farming. Training was imparted through Trained Trainers and Champion Farmers to 396 Krishi Sakhis in Jharkhand and 45 Krishi Sakhis in Maharashtra.
Two day Yogahaar Camp was organised (2nd May – 3rd May) on successful completion of 3 years (1095 days) of regular and continuous classes of online voluntary daily Yogahaar at Samriddha Gram, Haridwar. On this occasion, 200 Yogahaar members from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi and Haryana; Farmer representatives, consumers, Padmashree, scientists, yoga teachers, representatives of various social and spiritual organizations reached the venue.
Asam Krishi Sakhis Training Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission of the Government of India a 3-day training program (03.04.2023 – 05.04.2023) on soil testing was organised for the Assam Krishi Sakhis.
Under the National Rural Livelihood Mission of the Government of India a 3-day training program (16.02.2023 – 18.02.2023) on soil testing was organised for the Punjab Krishi Sakhis.
On 9th February, 2023 a day long awareness camp, jointly held by Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Haridwar and National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming, Ghaziabad.
First International 5 days training (25.11.2022 – 29.11.2022) on Organic and Natural farming was organised at Manra, by collaborating with Manra Shiswa Nagarpalika, Nepal
18 village level training programs were organised by Patanjali Organic Research Institute in collaboration with Mark Agri Genetics & Sponsored by PKVY, Horticulture Department in 4 blocks of Haridwar District i.e., Bahadrabad, Bhagwanpur, Narsan and Laksar Block.
Several trainings have been imparted to farmers on organic farming at Agriculture Research Campus which was sponsored by several training agencies such as Ambuja CSR Foundation, Mark Agri Genetics, SARG etc.
