A series of webinars on leveraging WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram for grassroots entrepreneurs was conducted by Mr. Deepak Vashisth and Mr. Pawan Kumar of the Patanjali Organic Research Institute in Haridwar.

A series of webinars on the topic “Enhancing Soil Health – Insights from India” was organized on 10th October 2024 in which the process of soil collection, testing and dissemination was shared in a value chain approach by scientists from Patanjali Organic Research Institute, (PORI) Haridwar, India.

A webinar was conducted by Alttech foundation on the theme Water games that help community action. Mr Pawan Kumar, Chief General Manager, Patanjali Organic Research Institute presented and shared his experiences. The discussions on sustainable water use in urban and rural areas were made by the participants. The water game developed by PORI was discussed and appreciated by all present.

Our FPOs from the Jhansi region participated in the Jhansi Mandal FPO Gosthi, showcasing their products at a dedicated stall.

At the request of our Vyakatroop FPO in bar block from lalitpur district, uttar pradesh, the government officials conducted a crop insurance survey for farmers in the region whose fields were devastated by heavy rain.

A Kisan Gosthi was organized by the Agriculture Department of Jalaun District at Bandichor FPO to discussed seed production with farmers and FPO members.

On 18.09.2024 Mr. Vivek Benipuri, Mr. Harishankar Tiwari, and Mr. Pushpendra Yadav from the Patanjali Organic Research Institute visited Vyakatroop FPO in Bar Block from district Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh to discuss with Farmers of the importance of digital marketing in agriculture and also discuss about the financial management.

Mr. Munni Lal Yadav & Dr. Manohari Rathi from the Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Haridwar, conducted a farmers’ registration on crop diversification in Silwani Village from Narmadapuram District, Madhya Pradesh under the Crop Diversification Project and also discussed soil health management.
