Under the guidance of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev ji and Acharya Bal Krishna ji on occasion of World Soil Day, December 5th, 2024, Patanjali Organic Research Institute team held meetings with more than 100 farmers from the villages of Tughalpur, Podowali, Ibrahimpur and Haddipur in the Khanpur, Bhagwanpur & Bahadrabad blocks of Haridwar district, Uttarakhand, India.
Farmers Visit ARC
On 22.10.2024, Shri M.L. Gaud along with few farmers from Itarsi, Madhya Pradesh, visited the Patanjali Agriculture Research Campus. During his visit, he inspected the Soil Testing Lab and gained insights into the Soil Testing Kit and Machine “Dharti Ka Doctor” developed by Patanjali. Additionally, he gathered information about the ongoing “Pilot Project of Soil Health Card” (PPSHC) being conducted on the premises.
Visit ICAR Bhopal
On 23.10.2024, Shri Sachin Kumar from Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Haridwar conducted the demonstration of Dharti Ka Doctor Kit in Indian Institute of Soil Science, ICAR. Bhopal. Dr. Shubham Singh from IISS had organised the event for around 28 students and entrepreneurs from various colleges and institutions were present in this event. Using this test kit, testing of five parameters was performed and the process of taking soil samples was also explained, Mr. Vivek Benipuri and Mr. Tarun Sharma from Patanjali Organic Research Institute were also present in this program.
PPSHC Phase – 2
The Pilot Project of Soil Health Card (PPSHC) Phase 2 resumed on November 10, 2024, at the Agriculture Research Campus, Patanjali, Haridwar. Here’s a glimpse of the ongoing process, including the testing, grinding, and drying of soil samples.
Interns Certification
Ms. Garima Goyal and Ms. Tannu Gupta, MBA students from Quantum University, Roorkee, Uttarakhand successfully completed their internship at Agriculture Research Campus, Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Haridwar under supervision of Shri Pawan Kumar, Chief General Manager and guidance of various team members. On completion of the internship Ms. Garima Goyal and Ms. Tannu Gupta expressed that they that they had a great exposure, gained insights from various perspectives and reviewed real-life examples which will help in their professional journey.
One Day Training On Soil Testing and Organic Farming
On October 23, 2024, a training session on organic farming and soil testing was successfully completed for 30 students and staff from Harsh Vidhya Mandir PG College, Raisi, Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The training was organized by the PORI Team under the Dharti Ka Doctor initiative.

Patanjali Organic Research Institute, Haridwar recently hosted a comprehensive training focused on soil testing and organic farming techniques. B. Sc Agriculture Final year students from Bihar, Nepal, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Delhi enrolled at Haridwar University, Roorkee attended the training. Dr. Manohari Rathi, Mr. Deepak Vashist and other team members imparted training on soil testing, soil testing procedures and equipment, soil testing kit, importance of soil testing, organic farming practices and organic formulations.

Webinar of Community action through games
A webinar was conducted by Alttech foundation on the theme Water games that help community action. Mr Pawan Kumar, Chief General Manager, Patanjali Organic Research Institute presented and shared his experiences. The discussions on sustainable water use in urban and rural areas were made by the participants. The water game developed by PORI was discussed and appreciated by all present.
